20k Platform in Shark.

After Purchasing the platform the merchant tents are not interact-able nor does it seem to allow any building on it even camp beds. Am I missing something or is it work in progress?

I'd like to know the answer to this too, as there is a platform in one of the Shek cities for sale. Is this structure usable for anything? Is there a blueprint? I was envisioning something like a platform to set up trade routes as a job for a squad (with or without beasts), able to build containers on it and move supplies from one base to another. I enjoy playing skeletons and would like a way to get supplies to a city I'd build in Deadlands, first providing building supplies then providing beds, bandages, food and alcohol on the smugglers route.
