So, I am not sure as to if I am doing something wrong, but I can't seem to recruit anyone anymore. I have gone to the Flotsam Village to recruit the multiple unique npcs there and to a beast trader, but whenever I pay for the npcs they get renamed to whatever I name them, I pay and they don't convert to my faction, is there a fix for this?

How many in your squad when you tried to hire them?
Do you believe the sexes should be equal?
Oh heavens no.

Do you already have 30 people? If so you can't get any more in the current state of the game. You can look for mods to give you a higher people limit.

If that makes you lose your money it should be fixed anyway. A cool dialogue from the NPC or to the NPC about soem random prejudice for being member of a very crowded party would be fine.

I think I was actually at 30, so that was it, so on my part that was a mistake, but it still shouldn't spend the money or rename the npcs and make the recruitment sound.

Personally I think it should be higher with vanilla Kenshi anyhow. Having a small recruit and squad size limit isn't a useful way to improve FPS. Technically it would somewhat, but not enough to really justify IMO. And for me having a ton of people isn't creating much of a performance hit anyhow.

But at least you can easily mod in a higher limit... and you really should.

It might not matter much to you, but others have weaker computers and it will impact them.
if you want more, use a mode. or make one, its extremely easy mod to make.
