Might be common knowledge, [EDIT: I see it was donkey who asked previously and was already answered :( ]

Push "M" and go to your map and you can name your faction. Like I said this might be common knowledge but I know I saw it asked twice in old posts when I scoured the forums this morning.

--------

I have a few basic questions about combat:

How does the weapon skill effect my combat performance?

With one of my people I want to raise my attack speed very high, is there way to raise only specific attributes?

What difference is there in the application of blunt force versus cutting against unarmored enemies?

--------

Does anyone else have a big red X where hats should be instead of the image (specifically when I see ninja masks)? I want hats :(

Thanks for your time everyone and I hope it is not frowned upon to share my discoveries, but can someone point me to a better place to share things I learned, I know being new that any repository of information is helpful and I would like to pass on anything I can to help other new players?

The X means a placeholder until the 2d art is done.

Weapon skill...I have no idea. Good question.

Attributes raise depending on the weapon you are using. katana's raise more dex than heavier weapons, for example.

I believe blunt damage inflicts more stun while cutting damage increases bleeding more. I have no in game data to back this up but this is what I have observed when not really paying attention.
