Hey ho,

quick question: Is it possible to still ally the Flotsam Ninjas after not doing so during the first encounter?

I don't know if I denied an alliance or just didn't talk to Moll at all when I was first in their village, but now that I have started my crusade against the Holy Nations I would very much like to be friends with the Flotsams. But all Moll now says to me is how great it is that I razed some Holy Nation city or that I should attack Okran's Shield next. Is there any way to get her to be my friend at this point or has that ship sailed? :(

You should be able to trigger the necessary Moll's dialogue if your standing with the Flotsam Ninjas is above -5. Then do the blah, blah, ask to join them.

Otherwise, well, the new patch is out - perfect opportunity to import :)
(import without the diplomatic relations, that is)

Are you sure? I'm at exactly 0 standing with them but Moll doesn't talk to me.

Can I bring in bounties to increase my standing? I already brought the Phoenix and one high inquisitor to the Shek. Would the last remaining inquisitor yield enough reputation? Or do I need to kidnap the Phoenix from his cell in Admag and bring him to Moll? 🤔

The -5 rating I make no promises - that is what FCS says.

Then how are you at war and not have won the war? :)

Anyhow, giving Moll the Phoenix would yield +75 relationship, and +40 per High inquisitor.
Definitely steal back your high value prisoners. It is super-fun!

Also, being allied to Shek overrides the Flotsam Ninjas sending help against the incoming HN assaults to the Shek sending help (hopefully in time, for me the help reached ahead of the assault once out of four so far, and that is the once being during the assault).

Valid point. But both Shek and the Ninjas keep telling me, that while it's nice and all that Blister Hill has been burned to the ground, they can't take it yet because Okran's Shield is still standing. So the war ends in Okran's Shield.

Ah. Good. Then I can bring both Inquisitors to them and that'll make them my allies. I kinda like having both the Bugmaster and the Phoenix in Admag. It's like a Madam Tussauds but without the wax.

Also, I'm not quite sure the Ninjas would be able to defend against the HN raids to their base. Because when I went to Admag to hand in the Phoenix, I was surprised to see that the HN had decided to stage a raid against Admag. The Shek could easily defend against that, but the Ninjas? Not sure if they would've been able.

No worries there. My campaign started in the south which meant that the southern Inquisitor was the first to go down. Apparently he's also the one who leads any assaults, because despite getting the announcement that the Retribution of God is going to hit me, I never saw an actual HN raids.

Thanks for the help so far. Hopefully I will be able to hand in bounties!

Ha, it worked!

For good measure I handed in one of the Inquisitors multiple times to get to a nice, round 100 standing. Me and the Flotsams are now friends 8)

And interestingly enough after taking down Okran's Shield I actually got a Retribution from God raid that spawned and made it all the way to my outpost. Or at least close enough. They bugged out at Squin, which gave me enough time to get my combat squad down there. Seems like a non-trivial task to actually get to my outpost to fight me given the fact that so far 0 out of 4 raids managed it D:

Mmmh. So up to now it all worked. I'm friends with the Shek, I'm friends with the Flotsams. I razed all of the HN's cities and the Shek took over Stack and Bad Teeth.

But what about Blister Hill? Aren't the Flotsams supposed to take over that city? The Shek recognized that the HN has been defeated and that Blister Hill is in ruins, but Moll is once again silent. The Flotsams overtook Rebirth, but then stopped. Is there any way to get them to claim Blister Hill?

Damn - you sure hate HN a lot! :D
I guess you could make sure that the High inquisitors are dead. But the conditions for Flotsam takeover of Blister Hill are identical to those of Rebirth.

Turns out the mistake was on my end: The Flotsams had indeed taken over Blister Hill. I just didn't know. You have to re-visit locations for them to update on the map. I thought the map updated automatically. Could've sworn I wasn't close to any of the more minor outposts that still changed their ownership according to the map. But I guess I must've walked by at some point.

Another mystery solved. The Holy Nation has indeed been eradicated.

Now to the United Cities :D
