Hello, I am not able to get assistance from steam , and I have also tried limited with you, I cannot access the forgotten construction as I believe some files are missing or corrupt, I have tried three times to do a clean delete on my computer and on steams, and my saved games keeps coming back, again I say steam is of no help.
what I hope to do is get CLEAR directions on a clean delete, then download kenshi again(Not from steam) and then hope I can access the forgotten construction files( after using the forgotten construction files, it is a very hard game without) I have re-bought kenshi from CoG , but there is no Mods for it yet.
Maybe there is a work around for forgotten construction files?

you can download mods from Nexus.

as for clean install. uninstall, go to file directory where the game is, make sure its empty. then delete the main Kenshi folder if its still there.
then download from GoG.
only download locations are from store sites. Steam, GoG, and Epic. all require to own a copy though on said platforms.
