Well, I've made a character and I want him to get very powerful! Is it possible if I keep on training with him a lot ( by training I mean putting him to combat with bandits while my other characters just blocks and the rest of the bandits) I will get very strong with this one and be able to take on a lot of bandits alone in the future ?

I do want to fix this grammar so very much, but I shan't.
On topic: Yes, eventually your character will be able to kill anything when he becomes strong enough.

Well, english isn't my native language! Sorry for my bad grammar.
When I first started playing the game I played around with the modding kit and made a godlike character with a 100 in everything and increased the spawns of all enemies and my one guy took on a group of 15 imperial lords and destroyed them, so yes its possible to make a very powerful very skilled character, but it would probably take a large investment of time and effort without cheating.

In older versions it was easier to play with only one squad member than now. I used to kick ass with my one guy, with only 40-50 lvl skills I was able to take down any squad I faced. Sometimes even raided towns with some tactics.
When another updates came it started to get hard. Now days there are less enemies "waiting for their turn to hit" and bigger squads have advantage over smaller. I was forced to get another squad member when normal hungry bandit groups suddenly started to beat my guy.

I have managed to keep just one guy going for a long time. Some hit and run tactics are definitely called for. Don't just let your guy get surrounded. Run away when that happens and target the closest chaser. Once you get a really high damaging weapon you can kill several people in one swing and it starts getting easier. I go into Holy Empire towns all the time and kill everyone. It's the main reason I ever do a new game import squad other than patches.
Just have your badass get real good at defence first. Like up to 40 or 50. Even then a high skilled enemy can take you out with a couple good swings but mostly there aren't any high skilled enemies. Also there are diminishing returns on skill growth. You have to fight people that are close to your skill levels in order to get a bump. This is why I heal everyone I take down in a fight. Not only do I get medic skills but the loser learns to be a better sword fighter and lives to get killed by me later in the week. Beautiful...

Yeah, now I'm killing most of my enemies with one blow. Heavy weapons with a good skill is op.
I like the idea of having a "big boss" in my faction that could kill anyone he wants whenever he wants.
