Gameplay problem

Hi, i've encountered some problems recently, and i can't get rid of them :
- Bandits can attack me, but i can't fight anyone (the cursor doesn't become red).
- The button "Medic" isn't working : the goal of my character is still "idleness".
- I've got nothing in the "factions" panel, except "nameless" (which is not the case for the NPC).

Thanks a lot for reading, it would be great if you can help me !

  1. Pause the game before you initiate combat with 'space' Then right-click and hold down the button on an enemy. You'll see a menu drop down. While the right mouse button is still down, move over the attack option you'd like (usually attack all) and then let go. Those party members you have selected will obey that order if they are able to.
  2. Medic function has been mostly broken since 0.30.1
  3. Nameless is the name of your faction (you can rename it elsewhere in the UI, I think in the map area). Faction mechanics only loosely work for now and can safely be ignored for basic testing and running around.

I just restarted my game, and it seemed to be alright until I opened the map editor. When i closed it, the problem came back. I'll be prudent with this option. Anyway, thanks for the answer !

Oh yeah, if you open the map editor it will mess with your game. If you use the map editor, exit the game and start up again before you resume playing.

What a cruel map editor.

Proof positive that Evil Developers is still a very relevant term. :D

This should hopefully solve your broken 'Medic' button bug: http://www.lofigames.com/phpBB3/viewtop ... f=9&t=1873

I don't think so, because i never bought a splint kit ! but maybe there's several reasons for this problem.

Splint kits being present aren't the problem. At least they never used to be, as I've always had them.
