same here..additionally, not convinced the lvl 2 research bench (the second on you get, 10 power) actually unlocked anything... still in development?

ok.. my bad.. research bench 2 is worker free, even tho i can send someone there and they have status operating machine... still out of research options and have no walls, do you have to buy the blueprints somewhere?

I suppose walls were removed in .43 in order to address a number of CTDs and AI issues. I imagine that currently Chris is working on implementing them in a less problematic fashion, and they will be back in the game soon.

As Clawdius said, likely removed for bug fixing, expect alot of that throughout development as features are released for us to find problems with then taken away while they fix it.

Ah ok was aware of the possibility, just wanted to confirm. makes protecting my settlement a bit more problematic though.... However after letting my game play for awhile have 20 guys with 10+ attack and every single building unlocked and built. Time to wait for more content while I grand C. Is there any possible way future updates will corrupt my save and make me start over? Curious

Well, walls didn't really protect a settlement anyway. They simply bought you some time to get your squads ready to take down the attackers. Since there are no walls you just need to make sure that your fighting guys are ready to respond from all directions.

Updates tend to work with older saves. If one does corrupt your save, CHris will tell us beforehand although we'll end up updating anyway, all part of the fun.

In the last 2 years' updates, i think there was only one or two updates that forced us to start a new game.

You should always proofread carefully to make sure you didn't any words out.

Need help? pm me or any other mod.
