Some Questions and stuff

Awesome game! It has so much potential and just rulz ;D
but some questions popped up after i Read through the Forums:
First: Research - after i researched Large house and stuff (all the stuff that pops out with the automated research bench) there is nothing more - But when i look at screenshots and Forum-Posts there are Buildings and interiors which i cant build yet - Like the Outpost-building or the Prison Cage
Also, theres an Ore Storage, but no possibility to mine ore - Well at least i didnt find one yet.
i know its an early development stage here but i ask mainly to be sure that i dont miss something here, so: is this stuff available for me or was it taken out in the current version, like the walls?
Second: "Respawn" of New Followers.
i couldnt find anything about this in the forums and/or wiki, but do new followers pop up in the Taverns from time to time, or not? i placed my camp right next to a city (brink, i think) but i got all the followers that were available there now and no respawn. Do i have to Abandon my camp to look for new ones in other citys, or do they come to Brink from time to time?
Third: Camera. You cant Split up your group in current camera mode, because as soon as you leave with a part of your group, you cant zoom over the "left behind" ones anymore - leaving them to die horribly cuz you cant manage them in a fight. - Is there any way to switch between subgroups with the camera?
EDIT: oh and Fourth: Trading. Does the Trading-Building work? NPCs keep coming, but dont buy anthing, but inside of the citys i see them buying/selling stuff...
And again: Awesome game! So much potential, cant wait for future updates

1. I can't answer the first question - I havn't yet built a mine yet so I'm unsure. I do know that the building element in it's current state (with research) is new and so it's probably not finished yet. Prison cages can currently only be found in Police stations, but can't be built by the player.
2. Again, atm the vanilla game doesn't respawn new mercs for hire. You would have to save your game - go to new game import squad and import your squads and buildings. The rest of the game world will have respawned some new mercs for you to hire. This will change in the future when the AI and job interaction updates comes (which should be the next big update.)
3. The squad system is limited to one squad atm, so when you split your squad, you can double-click or double-tap the corresponding portrait / number key for one of the other characters in your "left-behind" squad, which will allow you to view them. The camera will also follow this character until you move the camera manually.
4. AI trading with your own faction isn't fully implemented yet. Traders will come and visit, but there's currently none/very little trading that goes on between your shops and the AI traders. This is expected to change with the next big update.
TL;DR - Alot of the features you're talking about are new and so need ironing out / bug fixing or simply havn't been fully implemented yet. This excludes the camera thing, which you now know so you won't leave a man behind.

1. Some of the buildings (the round ones and prison cages) and research tiers have been temporarily removed for stability purposes. You could use the in-game editor to make prison cages though.
2. You can either make a trip to another cities' tavern (note that recruitable people sometimes get stuck outside of the bar if a fight happens near the town, so keep an eye out for them). Or you could use the "new game + import squad and buildings" option from the main menu to force all npc's, recruitable ones too, to respawn, thereby refilling the tavern. Always backup your save file before doing this.
3. Right click on a character's portrait to snap the camera to them. The camera will center on and follow that character until you move the camera yourself. This will let you move the camera between distant parties.
Edit: I was wrong about double clicking, and I also failed to proofread my message (stupid phone keyboard)

Thanks for the info!

I cant wait for the building/Crafting system to be upgraded and forging my own armor/Weapons!

Join the queue

. Once weapon and armour crafting is in, I can begin changing my squad from a group of mis-matched ragtags to a more organized syndicate.

You could even give them all different colors to make some sort of sentai samurai squad...ai.

OMG thank God... I was sure I read in the tutorial at one point to double click and I figured it was some kind of bug that meant I had to just hope my workers at the outpost would be alright while I travelled!
Thanks

No, not double click, double tap thier number is what it says in the tutorial, and it dose work. So if you double tap "1" the camera would snap to your starting character. Ofcourse this only works for the first 10 guys, so I'm not really sure how much good it'll do you.

I must have gotten lucky. My crew of 11 hit upon a massive massacre of Holy Empire types northwest of Eyesocket with the smaller backpacks which allowed me to outfit everyone in red , use black shirts and ''football pad'' armor off the ninjas, and everyone with the ring swords taken from dead dust bandit bosses, which has made so far for decent uniformity, as we all looked like railyard hobos before. I scored a Tricorn off of one desert victim, which as Chris observed, makes you look cool even if you are still a vagabond.
