I've got 300,000 cats, the best armor I can find for all of my guys, I've established three different towns and filled them up with building material for when walls come back, researched and built everything possible.

What do you guys do after this point? Just wander around attacking towns? What kind of average melee attack do I need to stand a chance against a town?

Any other fun things you guys do?

Well, you're in luck - Chris just threw in weapon crafting, so you can go ahead and see how that works out for you.

Just as in like an hour ago?

Oh, wow. I had been playing my game for 45 minutes. Quit, and I start updating. He must've updated extremely recently.

Whoa, do updates delete all your towns? Because all my towns are now gone.

EDIT: Nevermind, towns are still there, but are no longer shown on the map. Guess his UI changes broke some stuff.

importing after updates help fix a lot of the bugs that come up (sometimes)

I tried importing, and it didn't fix anything-- I can no longer see any of my player outposts on the map, although they are still there.

So, I guess that's one way of keeping them hidden.

I thought importing the squads with the buildings was still "bugged"? Them not showing up on the map must be the bug they described previously...

I am experiencing that same bug where my outpost no longer appears on the map, I only have one town so it is easy to keep track of it's location at least.

All three of my towns are still showing up and still at full functionality.
My only glitch is that most of my weapons are now worthless.

As in, I had a Fragment Axe MKIII on one of my characters (2.4 blunt/something cutting) that now does next to no damage (0 blunt/0.03 cutting). It happened to several other weapons as well.

The bug happened before I imported, so importing can't have caused it. What did happen was the update; before the update, they showed up on the map. Immediately after, they don't show up on map. It was the update that caused the glitch.

This could either be a bug or intentional game design. Do you know if Chris said anything about respeccing weapon damage?

This appears to be a part of the game design. When Chris added in weapon smithing, he reverted all of the weapons that NPCs carry to the "Old Eye quality", which effectively means smithing your own weapons is the best way to get better gear now. It'll only get better with age. :)

If you think your group is the best, try taking on some of the small outposts (the circles on the maps). The stats on the guards are crazy.

Anyone that is a part of the Dead Cat faction that I've noticed have incredible stats. Something like end-game material to conquer if you ask me. ;D
