Lo-Fi Games

I am sorry if this is in the wrong section and I also tried to search for the problem I am having, the only problem is I am not up to speed on what each thing is called so my searches are very generic, like "shadow problem" "shadows disappearing" and just changing the constructions.. so I did try..

however I am SO IN LOVE WITH THIS GAME and that's saying something as I am not really much of a gamer, but I did notice one thing recently, the shadows that the houses, farms, windmills etc cast disappear as I move the screen towards another direction before it reaches the edge of the screen itself.

I have tried putting the settings on low, high and highest and keep getting the same results. I also noticed it is happening on all four edges so it sort of resembles a smaller screen with detailed shadows then another screen behind it with no shadows and you only see the outside of it behind the first screen.

I really hope that it is either 1. something that everyone has and will just be another update fix or 2. something that can be fixed cause I am stuck playing this game every time I get home from work.... I have now researched everything and am getting the hang of making weapons.

SUCH AN AWESOME GAME, KEEP IT UP CHRIS THE GREAT.

Don't know if it will work:
Instead of using the cursor ingame to set 'shadow range' (8920 max iirc) you can try to enter a (high) number in the box at right, like 15000, and see what happens..
Also, maybe the first setting (view distance) has to be always greater than that.

hey thanks, I did try that already but to no avail. Does it just happen to me? if so then I am super worried cause I have found my game for 2013 and want it to run seamlessly if possible

does it only happen to me?
