As a character are you able to join other factions or are you preset into one at this point of the game?

Also, has their been any word on if factions will have unique names as well?

The game looks incredible, considering purchasing very soon after a bit more research.

not yet you cant, but its been confirmed to be in later updates.

they kinda already do, but if you mean better unique names. That will also likely come into the game near the beta id say. Unless Chris likes the names he already has ofcourse.

If you want to help Chris and the game, buy it now. It will also be cheaper than if you wait until it seems better, as the price will slowly go up to its retail price.

Also if really like it, you can donate a little more and Chris will put your name and make something you want in the game (based on how much you donate ofcourse)

Will definitely look into donating and probably will purchase just want to ask a few more questions.

I'm assuming you aren't the leader of every faction you are in, which I feel is great with having to earn your way up and sometimes follow orders. Each faction seems very unique and have different culture aspects, so I'm definitely hoping to see that expanded.

I also read that the game can be played however you want, you can go out alone or have a squad of 100. Definitely makes for some interesting decisions and tales with each character joining you at your choice and not forced on you.

Currently when you start a new game, you have your own faction.
If you join a faction, you will have to work your way up the ranks (cant join others yet)

Later when Chris makes it so you can join other factions, it might be that you can belong to more than 1 faction. this being that you will be able to have many men and they might have been in a different faction to begin with. (it would also be kinda bad if you lost your guy just coz you wanted him to join the ninja faction) There hasnt been much talk on this however so i cant say if its confirmed or not, but it does seem likely to happen based on the games workings.

indeed its a great setup. Just bear in mind that the game is made so the AI can do anything and everything you can. so your hero wont ever be the strongest, unless you really fight hard to make it so

That's exactly what I want..as that's a challenge and very realistic. I could see where you would lose a character if his original faction went to war with a faction you are in and he wanted to remain loyal, that would make sense.

But..you have convinced me. About to make the purchase.
