Escort a caravan...no pay at the end?

Hi,

Can anyone explain this issue? Is my only reward a bit of athletics and combat skill along the way? And the odd bit of looting?

i don't think that it has been implemented yet, but it is a good way for a starting squad to get to another town safely, and you are able to loot any enemies that are killed, but no there isn't any current monetary reward.
