I wouldn't think there would be any point to making mods just yet =P
Im sure its going to get updated quite fast and the mods will get updated, If you have the knowledge though, You could try to help the Dev in making the game, Assuming he would want the help.

Hi people !
I agree that there won't be much to do mod wise for some time.
First it will take a week or so to become familiar with the gameplay,so as not to take the game from it's intended direction.
Then a week or two getting familiar with the editor/tools functions.
Then a week or two exploring scripts, files and other assets.
With that said..... I can't wait to get my grubby little mitts on the mod tools !
I'll be quite shy modifying anything probably until Chris has updated/patched quite a bit, because everything I change has a chance that Chris will change the same file, which means I basically start from scratch.
At this stage it's gonna be more important to help clear out the bugs and get to understand the games inner workings.
Also I like where Chris is going with the theme of the game and want to stay true to his vision of the game world. So until the game is filled out a bit more,it would be wise to just play it by ear.
.......I want a pet dog tho.......
Edit: Meh,my new gaming rig should be ready in a week or two, depending on parts,so I'm kinda lamed at the moment anyway.

Indeed, this thread has become redundant with the creation of the official mod forum, so I'm locking it now. Have fun modding.
