Idea for body despawning

The body despawning in kenshi is really annoying, it is done on a timer so bodies can despawn even while you are looting them. One time i was carrying a ninja Joujin( not sure how to spell this ) and i put him down to fight some bandits, when i came to pick him up he had despawned!!!
To stop annoying situations like this I think it would be better if bodies didn't despawn when you are near them.

Guess that could be a good addition too, but i guess the major problem is they too fast gone now, i wonder why they changed tho, if was causing some bug or to improve something else.
