Having run around a bit, I've really started to enjoy seeing how NPCs interact between themselves. While the AI is still pretty rudimentary right now, I'm interested in seeing the full extent that the NPCs can play off each other. So how about we post anything interesting we've seen the NPCs do amongst themselves? I'll start. So far, I've seen:

Caravans guards break off combat en masse to give first aid to their wounded employer.

Rival bandit gangs getting into turf wars in the middle of the desert.

A spontaneous melee break out between the mercenaries and town guards in Capital. No idea what triggered this, but I theorize that the words "yo mama" were involved.

What have you seen?

When I got to the Capital, the caravan guards was being dismantled by shop guards. I'm assume someone tried to undercut the other party.

Yes, I'm aware that that's a bug.

I found a trading outpost not marked on the map (only sells trade goods) with about fifty or so guards i think, and at least thrice while i was there, a (much smaller) bandit group would attack.

And the trade caravans going between the unmarked trading outpost and shark often run away from dust bandits instead of killing them.

Man I have no idea what those mercenaries have against Capital, but the guards did not stand a chance. In other news, my character now has new pants.
