Has anyone fooled around with using the Bodyguard Job to create a convoy of chars to run across the desert?
I just encountered some really annoying pathfinding issues when I chain Bodyguards together rather than having the whole group Bodyguard a single individual causing every char in the vicinity to stop moving, on occasion.
Let me hear some observations.

I've encountered a different kind of pathfinding issues though. When I'm done exploring some faraway city, I usually box-select my characters (or even just one) and either 'bodyguard' or 'follow' someone at home base to get them to auto-route home. More often than not, at least one of them will get stuck either trying to climb an un-passable mountain, or has magically jumped on top of an unreachable place. 10 swordsmen out, 9 came home; one is admiring scenery on top of a plateau.
However, if I choose to move them manually all the way back to base, the pathfinding usually doesn't run into such issues, even if I were clicking on the furthest point on screen to move them. So might be pathfinding of these auto-move functions having terrain-clipping issues.

I had an issue like this in another version of the game. Luckly just saved the game when it happened. So went back to the earlier save. Though I had the group following one guy as he went to a city. On guy tried to go were normaly he could not and got stuck. Could not back him up or even pick him up.
