After update whith blood my character stop dyind and now do not need to save a game. I don't think this is normal, game must be harder.

You could also mess with the population sliders as well.

You could try some of hatsune neko's mods to rebalance the population and stats of enemy squads. You could also try moving on to fight harder enemies, such as Dead Cat or the Samurai Lords.

the larger stronger mod would come to mind.
with those stats, they are nothing in comparison. a super character would have issues living in my mod. especially if you went up again the Cannibals. they are freaking deadly. i have as of yet to win a single fight with them with my mod. and my stats are 2 times higher than those posted.

You could also pool all the character mods together and become a masochist.
