Is there any way to delete wildlife?
Dogs way to overpowerd. If my theam doesent get kicked by some Bandits they will cause of dogs. Now everyone is near to death and my home is full of dogs and dead.
Cause of the faction-"progess" there is no where to run and noone helps.
Thanks
How to delete wildlife?
Btw when will the Faction stuff will be fixed / re implemented?
Its not funny to run into a town where ALLWAYS bandits are who rob you.
I play and love this game for nearly 2 years, but the actually version (with bugs fixed long time ago) is the most bad version of all time.

You can create a mod so that wildlife won't spawn. After that just import to a new game and they are gone and won't come back. If you don't know how, just let me know.
And I guess the faction stuff will be improved/fixed relative soonish
EDIT: Maybe set the relations between factions and bandits to something negative which theoretically should mean that they will attack them.

You can try and mod them out ( or mod there relations ) like you can with other NPC's or set the slider to zero for nests. But animals are here to stay so eventually you will have to deal with them one way or the other.
Just like with bandits, the wildlife is powerful when you first start out. but over time, eventually the bandits become easy to deal with, The wildlife is the same way. you will just have to come up with a game play strategy that takes the wildlife into account when you play.

Do you believe the sexes should be equal?
Oh heavens no.
Then Men would become unmanageable

My biggest problem with animals is that they are much higher risk than bandits with absolutely no reward. If only we had some industries that would require hunting animals for base materials, like if leather required hides or if we could get bones and craft them into stuff. I'm sure something like this will be added eventually, and there's talk of animals in squads so that will be something wonderful, but for now animals are more like a punishment for fighting (since the SmellManager attracts animals to where blood loss has occurred and where corpses are) or for building your base too near to a nest. But as Hatsune pointed out, you can avoid them with the nest slider when starting a new game or importing a saved game. I don't recommend setting it all the way to zero, though, since that can make the game too easy after a certain point.

I have an issue with the wildlife. My base is built against a series of mountains, and a pack of dogs got hung up on the side of it where they can't navigate back down again. A group of traders, guards, and pack gar also got hung up. Then some bandits got stuck as well. With all the hostiles in the area, my squads are constantly going to "protect allies," and then proceed to get stuck on the mountainside, just out of reach of the enemies. They are a constant distraction, and have literally ground my progress to a halt. I would like some way to delete them, so my base can be livable again...
Mark your characters as 'Non-Combat' to prevent the 'Protect Allies' Task from occurring. Shift + F12 is your best bet to remove characters immediately, but it causes many, many crashes.ZombiePotatoSalad wrote:I have an issue with the wildlife.
