There are some rather brutal aspects of Kenshi. Cannibals eating you limb from limb, soon-to-be-slavery, and other not-for-kids stuff.
How about you get in on it with your very own....
DEATH SPORT

While this may be brutal, in a game where cannibals are supposed to eat you limb from limb, having bandits who attacked your city and tried to kill your innocent civilians be gladiators and not die from it is not so bad.

1. Have a prison
2. Set up an "arena" with two sets of cages in auxiliary sections (two walled in areas with cages and two layer 'airlocks' so you can get out and a door leading to the main arena)
3. Drop rusty weapons of the two rival prisoners in the center
4. Make sure everything is set up and open the gates (also have an open gate so they move in to the arena, but close it quickly, and don't have your own guys too close)
5. Watch them fight eachother with the rusty weapons (or clubs) for your enjoyment and dystopian sport {Google spellcheck told me to correct 'dystopian' to 'utopian'. Whoa there, Google.}
6. Send in troops to destroy the winners
7. Give them medical attention and return the criminal bandit scum who did worse things safe and sound to their cells
8. Don't forget to confiscate the contraband

What do you think? This isn't too much, is it? As far as I can tell, this isn't too far.
