I know now there isn't but what's planned for the future? Will shops rest as well?

I don't know whether that option on the front screen to start a new game with your existing squad is supposed to work like that or not, but when I used that last night some towns that were uninhabited before were now teaming. Or at least they had guards at the gates again. I also came across a trader and his escort which I hadn't seen in ages.

I was curious if there was going to be a different way than load new game with existing squad. I've done that a lot now though... mostly due to sellers inventories getting full.
