After a massive 3-way battle between my team, the Dust Bandits and the Hungry Bandits, I took a Dust King's tower and imprisoned him in his own tower.

Everyone is either moderately or heavily injured, but I can't sleep in the beds of the tower because they aren't mine. So? The tower is effectively mine now and I really don't care what the Dust Bandits think. Is there a way around this? Is it because some of them are still alive, either unconscious or imprisoned? If I kill them all will I be able to use them?

Oddly when I took out a Dust Bandit camp now far from the tower I was able to use their beds to rest without issue.

If there is no way around this, there really should be.

EDIT: If you pick someone up and lay them down in it, they can sleep in the beds.

That's fine, but you should be able to use any bed, at risk of making whoever owns it mad at you. In cases like this, you wouldn't care.

I agree that the beds could be handled differently. It would be better if it were treated similarly to the way trespassing is treated, with an NPC waking the character and potentially even forcefully encouraging them to leave.

Mind you, if that bug where NPC's lay claim to your bed from the last version is still around, that could get messy. I vote we prioritize those two accordingly.

A little ways north west of Waystation which is in the south east area. The tower is at the edge of a cliff east of the river, overlooking the river. There is a bugged area of terrain there in a big canyon that runs north/south that won't allow pathing, so you have to go around if you are going north from Waystation.

I don't think that part of the game has ever really worked. A few rare times I think it may have and they bought bread and rum. I think.

I haven't tried it since the new world though.
