Just thought it was a bit odd there's no food in hive traders, there should probably be *something*. Its not like hive don't eat bread like everyone else, they have it lying around for you to steal.

Only thing i see them have is raw meat. i just use a campfire and cook those and use that as my means of survival.

It is plausible and even maybe more realistic to expect that hivers have different diets than humans. Being insects they might have no problem digesting raw or even rotting meat, while delicate humans need it cooked first.

Plausable, but there's bread lying around their hives, player hive characters have the same diet, and im not sure if they're even really insects considering their ribs and ability to leave the hive independently and all that.Berzerker Jay wrote:It is plausible and even maybe more realistic to expect that hivers have different diets than humans. Good points about PCs and the bread around their buildings. The game design definitely needs to go one way or the other.
As to whether they're insects I'm pretty sure I've heard that in the lore. It would also explain their hives, the reproductive habits regarding the queens. What I've been wondering about these hives is where are the queens? I was hoping and expecting to see some other form of hiver, maybe some gigantic pulsating mass, something cool like that.

Easy fix for this one boys.
Make hive merchants have more om-noms for sale.
Perhaps not farmable goods like greenfruit or wheat as that would be too easy to start up a farm in a friendly area. Keep those goodies with those racist scumbags so we have reasons to sneak around.
