Was just chilling In Stack to pick up some fresh meat for my group when I saw a Shek from the adventurers guild go into the holy temple, the servants then instantly yelled "PALADINS! A BEAST NEEDS TO BE RESTRAINED!" ALl of the servants and Paladins in the vicnity of the temple then beat the Shek into submission.
I watched them drag him off and they displayed him ontop of the barracks cage at the top right next to another Shek in the adventurers guild who was also recently caged.
I think the thing that was so fucking hilarious was that just up the stairs of the building were 2 other adventurers guild members, except these were 2 humans chilling with a high Paladin.
I'm glad none of my guys are Sheks or Skeletons.
When you making a pit stop in Stack
Had two Sheks in my crew, but had to let them go as the holy patrols started to aggro in my outpost every time they saw them. I'm waiting for more map & factions, and while waiting I'm training my troops, and when the map comes their holy temples will burn.

I have an old warrior start where I went with a Shek Matriarch as my character. I was of course beaten to a bloody pulp by the paladins, then honed my stealth and thieving skills. Eventually I timed a break-out in Stack with the Inquisitor taking a nap. I snuck over to his bed, stole his armour. Now disguised as a demonically-horned Inquisitor, I just walked right out. I made it several steps out the gate when they recognized me, and I ditched the chestplate and ran. A pack of dogs jumped in and I escaped in the midst of the fray and disappeared into the night.
This same character is now supplementing the security in mongrel while also investing in a small mining operation there. I've bought the tower in town and I'm working on training up a small army to go and do some trading in Holy Nation territory....
Shek in the current map is challenging, but worth the challenge IMO.

I believe in Factions somewhere I saw "Shek Kingdom", It may have been in an older version though but I'm sure they'll put something like that in considering there are hostile skeletons out there that dominate their own areas of the map.

I settled near Hub so I could stay away from the Holy Nation, but I have a few squads where I only place humans when going into the HN territory.
