Outdated Version?

Everyone seems to have so many more options in the game than I do, and so many more features.. I own the game on steam, with auto updates on.. What am I doing wrong?

there are two versions.
The one which everyone plays by default is the Alpha Version. which is in Alpha stage.
The one you keep reading about is the Beta ( Experimental branch ) which requires opting into the Beta version as this is updated often it is also more unstable at times as more content is still being added.

Yep...on one computer I fiddle around with the regular version and on my other computer I have it installed only with the experimental version....trying to see what I can do in-game before the game slaps the crud out of me for clicking something it does not like
