I was looking to mod a new armor, but found out that the meshes use a .mesh format that I have no idea how to edit. Anyone able to help me out with an editor for this?

I *think* it uses scythe physics editor:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/physicseditor/

I played round with it a while back and could edit some stuff like the first aid kit models, but didnt really delve that deep into it. Works with .mesh files

Here is something else that might help you, Torchlight is very similar to Kenshi.

What kind of specifications are we looking at in terms of the overall polycount for the models? Is there a size limit for the textures themselves and what all is supported as far as mapping?
