This is a mod to make the start of the game easier.

-Slightly increased gold at the start.
-Better starting stats.
-Better starting gear.

INSTALL:
Move the Kenshi_Easier_Start file to your Kenshi data folder. Default C:\Kenshi\data
Add this line 'Kenshi_Easier_Start.mod' to the mods.cfg in your Kenshi data folder. Default C:\Kenshi\data
Alternative: Move the mods.cfg to your Kenshi data folder and replace the ond one. Default C:\Kenshi\data

UN-INSTALL:
Delete the line 'Kenshi_Easier_Start.mod' from the mods.cfg in your Kenshi data folder. Default C:\Kenshi\data

RE-ENABLE:
Re-add the line 'Kenshi_Easier_Start.mod' to your mods.cfg in your Kenshi data folder. Default C:\Kenshi\data

The extra gold may come in handy for testing purposes later on,when the access to NPC inventory is fixed and vanishing merchants are also fixed.

At this stage however I'll hold off modding anything until Chris sorts out more bugs/glitches.

Hi SynysterOne !

Yeah mate I've had a quick poke around the construction set.

I don't have much spare time at the moment is the problem,wife has cancer treatments and I'm looking after our four year old full time,plus my gaming rig recently caught fire and nothing was salvagable.

So what little time I do have to spend on Kenshi,I want to put into just playing it so Chris can fix things and expand gameplay.

When I have more time I'll be more than eager.

Really nice choice of starting gear. Hah I didn't know what I was getting myself into when I booted it up.
I'm curious though, how did you edit the starting gear and gold?

I have a workaround that works for the wanderer and no one else for some reason. <_<


If you want the secret, you'll have to bribe me with the right kind of bees.
The kind of bees I want to be bribed with can be found on the forums.
Also, there is a secret type of bees I can be bribed with if you just feel like guessing.

I did bake that bees, but in my own muse I consumed a piece and all of my questions have been answered.

I am able to make a similar mod, However I have noticed that y altering ur starting stats(ie:dexterity strength...ect)you also alter the stats of the recruitable toons that would usually carry stats of 1 in each. Essentially, upping your stats to say..... 15, will make all the toons u would usually recruit for 700g have identical stats to you. I shall upload one as soon as I can figure out how to seperate to 2 sets of stats. Not sure how to change starting gear and money yet tho.
