Also if you are not sure what version you have check the currentVersion.txt inside your game directory

Okay, so first thing's first. This is a really easy mod to make, this took me like no time at all. Also, this mod is very laggy due to the number of spawns.

I've about doubled the maximum amount of squads to spawn in a cell, so expect there to be a lot more going on in game.

I've also tripled the sizes of the squads (so a squad of 3 is 9, a squad of 5 is 15, so on so forth).

The following features may be considered cheating.

I've made new recruits less sucky. (They now might have the chance to have better weapons than usual and now have armor.)

I think I may have made it so recruiting is free, I am not sure. [Edit: No, this feature doesn't work yet. I think I know what I need to do though.]

Download is attached.

To install, simply extract to your root:\(wherever you installed Kenshi)\Kenshi\Data\

I extracted the files to here C:\Program Files (x86)\Desura\Common\Kenshi\data

Gave it a spin. There was a lot of initial lag but once my map was up to date it ran smooth enough.
I rather like it.

I'm glad you're enjoying it. Please report any problems you face, or requests that you'd like to make regarding this modification. I might even make a video for it.

Only oddity I've found so far if the enemy beats me and they're bandits they just crowd over one guy that refuses to go anywhere in most cases. Makes it a bit hard to recover when I can't get up for enemies spawn camping.

Never had the issue of suffering a horrible defeat so I dont know.
But I know for a fact that the AI gets really dumb in huge fights, half enemy squad pancis trying to protect ally and runs of only to return 30 seconds laters one by one... or suddely run of again with someone chasing after them, and still saying they protecting allies, but the direction they running there just sand, oh well that was only issue I had, eventually they calmed down and came to thier senses.

This is probably a limitation of the AI code. I'm not entirely sure, but I believe the AI is supposed to split evenly between party members or target the weakest one. However I think because of the way the AI was scripted (I am not sure.) the AI has trouble making a decision and adhering to it.

It's likely that they're crowding around their leader.

i love you the only reason i can play kenshi is because of this mod because for some reason it allows everything to load properly such as enemies terrain and such. where as usually it wouldn't load the npcs at all because i only have a single core processer.

Does this still work in 26.9? My game got a little laggy, but I couldn't discern any notable changes in spawns.

Do the recruits have new equipment? That is the easy way to check. If they dont then check and make sure your mod.cfg file has the line you need.
Image Spread the buzz of Kenshi.
