The goal of this mod was to turn the existing world into a world of almost exclusively Samurai and Ronin. Currently planning on replacing ALL vanilla Factions with my own, and most vanilla equipment is only available through trading with "Foreign Merchants" from other lands.

Expect to see a lot of Jackets, Straw Hats, and Katana.

Beware named enemies. You'll need an army twice the size of theirs. One for every enemy, and the rest for him. (MIGHT be exaggerating. either over or under.)

The Factions:

Each is color coded save the player's due to limitations.

Player Faction, obviously. Will start off the smallest (Again, obvious), and must scavenge/trade for much of your equipment, depending on your start.

Blue Herons: Peaceful towards the player at the beginning of most starts, generally travel in larger groups (for the player's protection early on, or a large threat), and have occupied Skinner's Roam, Port South, Trader's Edge, and Telbooze.

Crimson Scars: Almost always hostile towards the player, they are largely the main antagonists of the Blue Herons, and the player, on most starts. Control Fort Simion, Black Scratch, Heft and Bark.

Green Mantises: Hostile towards all except the Blue Herons, made up of mostly light armoured, unskilled ronin. Occasional "boss", tough leaders. Beware small, elite groups.

Night Stalkers (Black): Travel in small groups. Made up primarily of Ninja, hostile towards ALL other factions, including the player.

Royal Wildcats (Purple): The third major faction, they are at war with the Crimson Scars, Green Mantises, and Night Stalkers. They are quite friendly with the player on all starts, and are allied with the Blue Herons. Control Brink, Shark, and Clownsteady.

Stone Skins (Gray): Generally neutral towards all, the Stone Skins are largely heavily amoured, and carry the best swords. Travel in small groups, and are often highly skilled. Trading/scavenging their swords is the only way to get the best weapons. Own Catan.

Yellow Hornets: Varying levels of aggression depending on start, allied with neither the Blue Herons or Crimson Scars. Retaliate against attacks from the Crimson Scars, Night Stalkers, and Green Mantises.

White Leaves: Non-hostile towards all but the Night Stalkers, are primarily made of Medics with armed escort. Control Eyesocket.

Starts:

Rouge Ronin: Start off as a single Ronin without any money, and the skills of the average Ronin in the various armies.

Sole Survivors: Your faction has been nearly entirely wiped out by a massive attack from the Crimson Scars. Start off with seven injured ronin, who have slightly above average skills, no money, and most factions hostile (Blue Herons and White Leaves excluded).

Legendary Swordsman: Starts neutral to all factions but the Night Stalkers. One lone samurai with 10000 Catan, and unmatched skills. See what you can do with them.

NOTE: I'm working on this at my own pace, and I'll post it when I feel it's ready.

SECOND NOTE: To anyone who feels I'm ripping off the construction set tutorial, I found the tutorial while working on this to figure out more obscure features.

Any thoughts/ideas about/for my mod?

You should change the way weapons look if you can for added originality.
Oh, and also can you change the way buildings look?

I just like things really original.

I'm using only items from in-game to make this mod; I'm incapable of creating retextures or new models.
