I've looked through the construction set and don't see anything about what I"m looking for, so I'm assuming nothing like it is implemented.

Is there a list of planned features for the modding tools? I'd like to do some scripting to add some new features I kind of want, but noticed nothing about a scripting API. Is one planned in the future? How extensive will the modding tools be?

I looked around the site for about half an hour to see if there was a confirmed feature list of the future mod tools, but found nothing.

From the FAQ:
Will the game be moddable?

Yes, the game is totally data driven and will be released with the same editors that are used to make the game.
Should mean most things are possible.

That's, honestly, far more vague than it's made out to be. While it may be the same editors, that does not mean we will have much access to anything which would give us any real scripting control. What we have now is technically data driven, all the weapons and such. But that doesn't give me a weapon OnHit function, or an OnBuild or other event-based "hooks".

I'm guessing there's no real details on that right now. XD
