Hi, i made a two handed sword mod for my kenshi game, i would like to implement in in-game and then make the mod downloadable for everyone to enjoy.
So far i managed to make textures and i know how to place the sword mesh in game. Thanks to lot of help i got from f03n1x and Deathhood98. But now i am stuck on the next step and i could use some advise what to do next with textures properly and what to do in construction set...
So far i made texture on one image and I made mesh in ogre format. That mesh was tested in-game and works fine but the textures does not.. (if i try to apply my own textures sword just does not appear in inventory of vagabond in Holy sword start, but the sword is there if i apply textures from any other sword)
I have gimp and i took the textures, as you see in attachments, exported them to .dds. Is that correct? there are many format options in export, what should i choose? How does game figures out texture coordinates?
Thank you a lot for help, i will add .blend of my sword for you to look at.

So I moved a bit further, game no longer crashes with my textures on the sword, i now know how to properly set everything in construction set now too.. my another issue is how to make textures show properly.
I attached screenshot, that is how my sword looks in-game with my textures on it. They still do not show properly.
Does anybody know what do i do wrong? When i export textures to .dds gimp asks for compression. I dont know how it works (only know game wont crash when i choose DX3 or DX5) so i dont know what to choose.

So i figured out rest of the answers myself..
i made 2 mistakes that caused trouble at the same time.
1) I exported sword from blender and i have not erased extra UV maps i had there from first stage of texturing. So texture coordinates (that are in .mesh file) were all messed up.
2) Compression of .dds files was wrong... after painfull trial and error, i figured out that BX2/DXT3 and BX3/DXT5 work for kenshi. (some other compression formats make messy results or crash the game, some apparently have a function.. just dont know what)
I will improve the model and resolution of textures and then i will upload finished mod soon.
