You can't seem to save edited dialogue in the construction set. Everything else seems to work except this?

I wasn't sure whether to place this in mods, or the bug reports, as it's a bug regarding the FCS, not the core game. Either way, this is very disappointing, as dialogue can make or break.

(I'd rather my young female surgeon not be a greasy alcoholic)

It's a bug if it doesn't save. There is a work around for it though. You'll need to duplicate the dialogue you were trying to use and edit that one. Make sure you're doing it correctly also.

To edit a dialogue, you'll need to click on the dialogue tree you wish to change and then click the edit button once you're done changing it.

That is exactly what I did. It's a duplicate of the surgeon's dialogue on the new character. I know how to edit it, and change all the values and what they do. If I close the window, it keeps all the changes. But when I save the mod, and reload it, the dialogue is reset.

I have a duplicated surgeon dialogue that i have made for this character..
I edited that dialogue to my likeing, then saved. Duplicated that edited dialogue, then edited the new one yet again, saved. Then duplicated that newest one yet again, and edited that one aswell.. Saved.

So had three dialogues that were edited and duplicated+edited from eachother, and upon saving and reloading the mod, all of them were reset to the default surgeon dialogue.

Ok, got it to work.. The solution is not to duplicate.. I created an entire new dialogue from scratch, and that works perfectly. I can even go in and edit that as I please, and the changes persist through saving.
