Not sure how this helps, but I do feel that it'd be relevant to mention that I run it without issue through Steam and it's saved in the same spot.
When I start it up this pops up. "kenshi mod manager has detected saves that are not linked to a profile. please enter a profile name for your current save." When I type in anything it crashes and when I dont type anything at all it crashes. I have no idea what to do.

I also have blog now! Ill update it kind of weekly, but it's mostly about my KMM progress, and other stuff im working on.Thanks for the 2 thousand downloads guys!
There is a KMM update incoming in maybe a month maximum, that should fix all reported problems and add a few goodies!
Plus, when it's fully alpha tested, I'll release details of my latest work
*Website & server might be down for a few days*

So last night I made several save profiles through KMM to be able to play and experience the game in different ways. When I turned KMM on this morning the profiles were still there but somehow they had all been overwritten to the newest game I had made which is just of one character. 15 hours of work on one of the saves I had with a fully blossoming town and 13 party members gone. Just gone.

Sounds like a UAC/Admin or Antivirus problem. If you email me or PM me your email address I can run through some debugging steps with you. Also can try and see if your saves are still there. Email is hellhound1@outlook.com

Hello all,
Theres a beta available NOW at my website.
I need a few very helpful people to test it out for me, and see if they can find any bugs i've missed.
It's functioning, all the basics are in, but it might be worth backing up if you decide to help
It's finally up, you can have a play and see what you think!

Hey Hellhound1,
I tried registering on your blog so I can try out your beta app. I got a confirmation email and clicked it seemed to work. But when I log in it takes me back to the same page with a red rectangle above the login field. Which seems to be an error, but no message in it. This was done in firefox, I have tried it using opera, internet explorer and chrome. Now I just get a 403 Forbidden error message. Just wanted to give a heads up. I downloaded this Kenshi Mod from your first post but not sure if it was the beta. If there is a way to get around this problem to the beta, much appreciated.

My apologies, i've manually verified you, and im looking into the bug
As for the 403 error, it's a automatic safety measure for the website, will time out after 24 hours
nothing i can do about that one I'm afraid.
Progress on the beta is currently quite slow, so don't expect any updates for verison 1 quite yet. I'm waiting on someone else's work to be finished so that i can combine it all together, but until then there's really only graphical changes i can make and they're not really much help
With the next update of Kenshi I may release a new version to bring it more in line with the new save system. The current one still works fine, though, but i can now go deeper into the save system and control each save on it's own etc.
(I was clever enough to lock myself out of my own website while testing this..

This looks like a really helpful thing, but I can't seem to get it to work. I extracted it to the Kenshi data folder, but then it says it can't find the exe. So, I instead extracted it to the main folder, that has the exe, and it immidiately crashed.

Kenshi executable has changed sicne then as it now has 32bit and 64bit versions so this mod manager most likely will no longer work.
Also with the 76.x version a new launch GUI is now in place and it supports mods located in the proper folder rendering this mod pretty much outdated.

Ahh, ok. Guess I'll not use this time. I just wanted it because it sorted mods to specific saves. Since I have one save with the Pastry mod, and another with Extended Gameplay, and a few other things.

maybe you should request that option be added to the new mod manager, so it remembers what mods are used in what saves.Yanderechan wrote:Ahh, ok. Guess I'll not use this time. Keeps telling me it can't locate the executable, it's in the data directory and can find the mods fine...it's a steam copy...
