What is the best way to add armor and clothing?

I want to add more heavy armors to the game, how would i go about this?
What is the most stable way to do this?

I want to add a sanada yukimura red stag knight armor, like this

Actually there are two ways:
The First one is using an existing model and just recolour it, in case it's colourable, and save it in your game files, or create a mod first and ad it in this mod. (I Would recoment the Samurai armour set)
The second one is creating a custom model via. Blender. There are also pre-done character meshes which can be used as help.
