Animations

I've been looking around and gathering information, but I still have a few questions

How does one create animations for this game? I use Maya for animation

also when I open the tool kit there doesn't seem to be a "new" icon in the upper left, did the interface change?

I found the "new" Icon in the updated menu set.

Still looking to do animations for Kenshi, and I'm still not really finding much. I'm trying specialize in martial arts studies/animations

Here's a link to my current student portfolio, I have a few works not uploaded thus far, but I also didn't want to flood my portfolio with too may WIPs as most are personal projects that I haven't had time to go back and do.
