Is it possible to mod gate durability?

Hello I have been trying to find out if it is possible to mod wall gate hp or durability?

I have been pouring through the construction set with the game but I can't find or figure out what to change so the gates to my outpost can withstand more damage before breaking

any help?

Hi,

Yes you can mod gate, or rather DOORS durability since AI will damage your door but not the gate itself it seems ... In the toolkit you need to edit the building called door, as an example the Defensive Gate level 2 Door.
- Look for the 'Construction' node in the table
- Notice the Build Materials entry = for gates it makes it more costly, but for doors it makes them more durable

if the level 2 door has a 30 durability you can change it to 300 build materials to make it ten times more durable. AI will still damage it, but you will have plenty of time to prepare or defend/repair the door.
