Please open Steam workshop to public for your Game

Hello.

Can developers open steam workshop to public, so we can use 3rd party downloaders to get mods from steam? as it stands now we cant use any scripts or 3 party sites for mods from steam because they workshop is listed as non-public. I know there is a nexus alternative but mods there have not been updated in months. If you open that workshop to public there are plenty other methods to scrape these mods from steam for us GOG users.
