For those who have looked over the modding capabilities, you'll see there are quite a few ways to edit combat. Number of opponents attacking, speed of combat, how much damage, individual weapon stats, etc..

Only problem modders have, is that I'm not sure anyone knows the combat formulas. This makes it tricky to tweak to your desired results.

So, let's use this thread to talk about tweaking combat and what results we get. With some communication, we should be able to get a handle on how the formulas are working, and edit the combat more precisely.

Has anyone tried tweaking weapon weights? I'm curious as to how much that effects damage.

Please tell me what you find. Did some shallow tweaking, once. Won't be able to do much till I work out the randomness used to calculate.

Well, if you enter ridiculously high values, you get a ridiculous amount of fun :D

On a more serious note, everything we already know about the weapon/combat system is on the wiki (http://kenshi.wikia.com/wiki/Modding:Weapons). This can always be improved upon though, so feel free to add any new findings you make.
