Lo-Fi Games

First of I'm no modder but I would very much like to learn how to do it. I got an idea while playing the game. The Kenshi world is a big and mystical land filled with desolate plains and mountains. It would be awesome if there was a place somewhere hidden in the world where you could learn to use powerful powers, like lightning combat speed or being able to carry one bad ass huge sword. That place would be generated in the most remote and far away areas. And I think there could only be one of these places for each world.

I know that there's no magic in the game and I don't want any "shooting fireballs" magic but it would be cool if you could get one god like power through sheer luck of first finding this place and then also being able to handle and complete the task. I haven't really thought about what the task could be but the idea is that you're supposed to fight for it.

Montcore

Explore the construction set. Some things are possible not, like super strength I think. There was a god mode mod released, explore how they did it. Look at dialogs and how things like barter windows open. In a similar way you could have a green training dummy change someone into the incredible hulk.

i think this idea would be great for a mod, but i don't know what skill this place would teach...

DUEL SWORDS

Well I was thinking that it could be chosen random from maybe three to five options. If you manage to find this secret place in one of your saves it could be one of five different skills/abilities. That mean that if you play on another save and happen to find it a 2:nd time it can be a different skill that's chosen.

The more options I put into the mod the more replay ability the game/mod will have. I dunno if I can even start making the basics of the mod yet so I guess we'll have to wait and see

Sage 


Quests



1. Meditate on the top of a mountain. Right klick the
meditate stone. Get one of five lines.

"While meditating I realize"

Line 1
Nature flows through my body connecting me to everyone and
everything in the world.

Line 2
I can see my energy, my life force shimmering as a thin layer
over my body.

Line 3
A red light shines through my chest, beating to the rhythm of
my heart.

Line 4
what true peace is. I can almost touch it, so close but yet
so elusive.

Line 5
my failures through life has molded my spirit and body for
this moment. I see why it's only me that will be able to
handle the secret power.

Return to the Sage and tell him of what you've learned. Some key words from the received line are required. I don't know if it's possible for me to make the player write down the sentence in open text or if I'll need to make choices for the answer.
(dunno how much sense that made but anyhow, moving on )

Reward: 45% chance in the beginning of every battle to get a 250%
combat and movement speed buff for 45s.


2. Defeat the legendary sword master, enemy of the Sage.
Delivere the sword masters sword as proof of your
victory. 

Sword master: 
A huge amount of stat points. Gonna need at least a group of
around 10 end game characters. 
Wielding a custom made weapon. The only weapon in the
"massive weapon" class. 

Sword master's henchmen:

1. 40 to 50 men, making it a big group but with low stats.
Around the same quality as dust bandits.

2. 10 to 15 men as strong as sand ninjas.

Defeating the sword master and returning his sword to the
Sage.

Reward: The sword and the skill "massive weapons" for one
character. 

[!] ^ the only way to learn the skill, there's no way other
than cheating even of you get your hand on the actual
sword[!]

What to do:

Get more familiar with the cs [  ]

Create the Sage and his lines for one of the scenarios [  ]

Find a way to generate different positions for the Sage and
different scenarios, the goal is to have only one for every
game [  ]

If anyone wanna work with me on this just pm me as I said
in the first post I'm new to moding so I don't know when or
if this mod is gonna be ready for a first release. I guess
everyone has to start somewhere

This sounds like a great idea! As much as I like the free range format of the game, I require structure. Thanks!
