I have question i cant seem to find the answer too, i know how to more or less use it, but i dont know how to save workshop mods ive edited, ive had to remake all the changes to the mods i edit each time i install and uninstall the game

They're in your Kenshi/mods folder. Make sure to back up those files when uninstalling and you should be fine.
