I am not sure where this goes

When I go to the forgotten construction to adjust friends and enemies, I get a screen(Game world file) that shows 179 items in error
It will not get me to the proper screen to change friends and foes.. i think because of the errors

I should also say that my higher research , also malfunctions. I have to start Kenshi without Wemod to complete research for level 4, level five and the ultimate turrent. I am still trying to persuade the ultimate turrent to finish research , but no luck so far( for level 4 and 5 I kept turning the game off and on until it started working)

The 179 errors in the FCS are normal, not a problem. Just close that window when it comes up. The vanilla game files have exactly 179 errors flagged in them. They are all minor errors that will not cause any problems, and can be safely ignored.

Thank you for the reply
this is what I do
Press- os.c, program file x86, steam, steam apps, common, Kenshi, Forgotten construction, done, yes, (here is where error screen shows up...it never used to do this)
I should have a screen for press- saved, saved 1, quick(saved 1 is my save) THIS SCREEN DOES NOT SHOW UP, so I am not able to access forgotten construction to alter the values to show my friends and foes (using only +/- 1 to 100)

That screen does not normally come up when you open the FCS. You need to use the "Open Any" button along the top of the FCS, then navigate to your save folder, open the save you wish to edit, then open the quick.save file found inside.

Saves by default are located here:
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\kenshi\save

Note: To view the appdata folder you may need to enable viewing of hidden files and folders in Windows.

Sorry the open any button, I accidentally used save
( that part of sequence should be press -open any, save 1(that is my save) and quick
I did also try and keyed in the translation mode box to enable, but that just brought me to a shorter error screen
so without getting the open any screen, I cannot work in forgotten construction, unless there is another way`.
But I am still playing my game, I have to stay on base with my attack crew until get the hostile points on all that I want for enemies, then the gunners and roaming guards can handle it while I got and box peoples ears

When you open the quick.save file, it should look like this. Do you not get this screen after doing so? Or are you unable to locate the quick.save file?

I should mention, that this shows after you key forgotten construction on far right top, there is a app with lines and a red x, and beside that is a I will call it a hyfen with a down indicator...this has a open any-save-quick save, but opens in a different screen

Alright, so is this the screen you're getting? If so, then you're likely opening the wrong save folder. The one in the main Kenshi folder is an old one that by default is no longer used.

You need to go to the appdata location, that I mentioned previously. Or you need to go to your game options and disable the "User save location" option, then save the game again. That will store that save in the easier to access save folder in the main Kenshi folder.

yes that is the screen with the hyfen and down indicator, and yes it is wrong screen.
and the save folder I used to un-check the user location, so I could easily delete the not used anymore game files, but I now have checked the save and I presume they are going to kenshi save files, I will check on that though, I wil print your suggestion and go see if I can figure it out will message results later

ok, I got the box rechecked, so now when I save the game other current saves show(4 I think) this is where I have been deleting no longer used games.
Also I went toc,program86,steam, steam apps, common, kenshi and save(this is just my way of writing so I do not have to use the slashes)
i could not access the quick save folder, but there seemed to be a fair amount of mb's (well over a 1000) there.
this may all be easy for you, but for me a lot of it is trial and error. I use WeMod as it makes playing the way I want it, but as I have tried with just the game and have the same problems, I think I can rule out WeMod. now save I have not been happy with for a long , long time, as I should be able to use a old stable save as a restart point.
but I would like to just delete everything and do a clean install( I tried this twice, deleting on steam , then trying to find residew files to delete on my computer.

Hello Moderators, on my last question everyone just quit talking so problem not solved, So...I am thinking and yes this was written above, I need advice to do a clean delete on steam and my computer, then I would need to know where on LoFi that I can redownload it(Kenshi)
I do not want to use steam as they have a great way of not being contacted and their machine directs me to you, and I suspect their files are corrupt, as I did do a clean delete of the game (I did this twice, or at least I thought it was clean) that is why I would need a different source for a download.
Thanks
Bob

We have no external downloads for the game beyond the Demo.
if you don't want to use steam to launch it, you can go into the game folder and launch it manually from there.
or buy it off GoG or Epic.

Thank you Hatsune, you have been very helpful, but sadly it was not helpful enough as I went to kenshi files and there are a lot of them, rather than blowing up my compter I decided to do nothing.
I with draw my request for help

you want the Kensi_x64.exe
you can also move/copy the folder from the steam install location and make your own so its not associated with steam.
