Hi, I've been working on a modification related to some armor values but I've had some problems applying tests to the athletics multiplier value.
My idea is to simply make the high armor slow you down a bit when using it (like what happens with prisoner shackles) but when I change the value and test it in-game the value simply doesn't work, it doesn't reduce movement speed and it doesn't even show the penalty it should have
I'd like to know if it's a bug, or if the mechanics work differently, I also came to think that it only works on boots, and I have another similar problem with the Plated Longboots when setting the value of "level bonus: -10" does it have something to do with it?
I would appreciate it if you could review it or explain to me what I can do.
(HELP) It just doesn't work

Athletics penalties only work on boot and pants slot items, they do not have any effect on other slots.
Level bonus is something that affects the resistance of the equipment, and the penalties. Basically everything in the game is on a level from 1 to 100, and this gives that item a bonus or penalty to that level. So a normal "standard" quality armour is level 40, if it has a -10 level bonus that means the standard quality version will be level 30 instead.
