Hey all,

I've been growing increasingly frustrated by a certain part of my mod and it's bugging me that I can't see where the problem is occuring.

The basic gist - I'm trying to randomize gear and equipment on the citizens of Kenshi, however I would like each city's denizens to reflect the faction that controls them (eg: Holy Nation - Gi's, Robes etc / Dead Cat - Mercenary gear and leather.) This means I can't just change the standard citizens character file as that would then effect them across the whole spectrum.

To try to tackle this, I've duplicated the "Citizen" character and created three seperate classes which correspond to each faction's citizenry. I've then gone on to do the same with the "Civilian Solo" division and linked them all up correctly, and then finally applied the new divisions to the respective faction. This should in theory mean that when you walk into a Holy Nation city, all the citizens are wearing sporting Gi's, as opposed to the standard halfpants and sandals.

However, this isn't happening. Whenever I load my mod, all the citizens are the standard halfpants and sandals wearing clowns that I'm trying to eradicate from my towns. Does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong? Is it that I've changed the wrong file? Is it that I've called all three citizen character classes "Citizen" even though they have seperate String ID's.

TL;DR - Basically trying to change citizens and it's not working.

Are any other changes you're making in the editor showing up?

They are yes. This includes other faction clothing changes and starting equipment. I havn't edited any major behaviours (thus far anyway) I've also now tried naming them differently eg. Worshippers, Members, Civilians and it'll always stay with just "Citizens" of whatever faction owns the town, all in halfpants and sandals. :(

UPDATE: I've even tried modifying the original "Citizen" class to see if it's a problem with the duplicated versions, but I still get just standard citizens - beginning to think that either these guys are hard-coded into the town design, or I'm doing the wrong thing.
