Character bodies in file

Okay so my question is, what do i do to get a character i created into the kenshi/data/character/bodies folder?
I know its possible since one of my previous playthroughs characters are there...for some reason, i just dont know what i did to get them there :/

In earlier versions of Kenshi you had to press "Save" in the character creation screen. Now there is an "Export" button that does the same - exporting the body file. It will be named after the character.
