Lo-Fi Games

I'm abit confused on most of this games content like these other factions i never seem to encounter... all i end up encountering is dust bandits slavers hungery bandits sand ninjas and cannibals... I finally encountered a camp of cannibal hunters but thats about the closest new thing i have ran acrossed even seen a few roaming traders with actual names which kinda shocked me.... Lol one was even named Sand and had some awsome high grade medium plate rag armor, but above all i'm curious about the martial arts skill aswell as the crossbows [not the mounted crossbows the hand held ones] Same thing with robotics... I dont know if they are mods but i have seen some old buddies of mine useing such things in there games but i've no idea how to get such things nor how to add mods lol It's sad i know but if anyone could help me figure these things out i would appriciate it greatly oh btw >.> I was shocked today with there recent update that brought the tall head and flat head hives into the character creation

hand held crossbows in the game would have to be a mod as they not added officially to the game yet.
to add a mod you just unzip the mod into your data directory in Kenshi.

in experimental branch you use the main menu to select the mod you want.
non-experimental you have to go into your data folder and edit mods.cgf and input the name of the mod into it.

as for the NPC factions, keep wandering around, eventually you'll meet others.
