Hi there, I know this is not a mod suggestion or anything, but it is a question regarding the use of FCS to mod a save file for a couple of different things:

1. How is it that I could go about creating a copy of my character's stats using either a quick.sav file, or a platoon file perhaps? I am curious to create new games using my current character's stats, although I don't want to recreate my whole squad one stat level at a time, I would much rather create a copy of my character's stats.

2. How is it that I could go about adding an item to my current character? I only ask this to get availability to some samurai armor on the new map. Sure, I could go to an older version with the old world and buy it there and then reimport, but then I would lose my base and probably characters from my squad who are of races the old version does not support. Is there any way to "inject" an item into a character's inventory?

If there is no way to do that, I have attempted adjusting strore's stocks in order to allow the purchasing of the items I want, but I cannot seem to get it to actually work. Might anyone have some advice on how to make that work?

Easy to do on the FCS.

Load it up, hit new Mod, Type in whatever you desire.

Click under Characters, right click New Item.

There'll be a drop down menu on the top right of that box for Clothing, Inventory, Stats. Feel free to manipulate as you like.

For Stats, you can hit <new item> and fill in the stats you'd like and Name it.

Once you're satisfied, Click the Arrow next to Factions, go to tab Squad, and insert the character you named.

Then go to Game Starts back on the side menu of everything, (Second from bottom)

Right click and hit New Item again, name it, now choose what town to start at (Make sure its' one available on the current map) and load in your new squad with your custom stats.

You can do this to make more than just one character for that squad, obviously, but I hope it was informative.
