Desura Key wont work on steam?

So, I heard the great news that you can redeem your CD-key on steam! Bud depressing as it was, it didn't work :c

So before starting this topic I went throug and wonder what might be wrong since, I have the latest beta version on steam:


So I wonder what I should do to make it work!

If the solution is somewhere in the forums, then I'm sorry for not looking harder Q_Q

I have the same problem and i havent seen any solution to this on the forums. I have latest beta too but it doesnt help either. I bought this game week ago on desura and if i cant get it on steam it is very sad thing...

Hopefully we are just impatient and this key thing starts to work soon.

It's the same situation with me. I bought Kenshi a little over a month ago on Desura, am definitely on the Steam beta but it's just not taking the key.

I think the people who are getting their keys to register got the game elsewhere like from here on lofigames.com or Gamersgate.

It seems like most if not all of the people who got in on Desura still aren't getting their keys accepted so I guess the Desura keys haven't been entered into the Steam registry yet.

I too have a Desura key that's not working on steam yet (i haven't tried yet today) and I know how you guys feel. I'm pretty excited to, to transfer Kenshi over to steam. But I'm sure that if we're patient, it will work sooner or later. So in the mean time we just need to keep checking the forum for updates and trying our key on steam every now and then.

Anyway, despite the key troubles this is some pretty exciting news for Kenshi. Steam means more sales, more sales means the funding of this game that I'm sure we all want to see come to fruition.

So congrats to Chris and in the mean time my fellow Desura Kenshi key owners, lets be a little bit patient
