Hi, I purchased Kenshi on indievania earlier today, but did not receive a key or email with one. Any ideas?

Indievania is just a frontend for direct payment to devs, so when I pay on indievania it goes straight to the dev with no inbetween hence my confusion as why I would need to get indievania support involved.

I use indievania quite a bit and this is the first time I've had any issues. Is there a direct email for support on here, because I've had no luck finding one, or is the only direct contact via this forum and facebook page?
Just getting kind of frustrated that I paid 2 days ago and have no response yet.

I've have to ask something Captain Obvious right now before I venture forth in this chat.

Have you Logged on your username in indievania then gone to Game downloads to check if you can download it there? (If you still need order key it should be attached to the orders section once you order)
If im totally incorrect just spend enough time saying You checked already and not more.

honestly i've checked everything from this to my email etc to no avail
what i need is a response from a mod or the devs here since there seems to be no real official support contact besides here

You'll have to wait for Chris to see that. Mods can't do much in that aspect

Did you get an email from paypal saying you bought the game for 10usd(or sth)?
I don't understand why your selected payment shows 0.00$ on the screenshot :?

You should always proofread carefully to make sure you didn't any words out.

Need help? pm me or any other mod.

That because he have cuted of the picture in half, the price is written to right of kenshi.

Also deadlyhabit Check your Pm, Mail with code been sent, Also edit your first post to solved so Chris wont have to spend time looking into the matter, but with mabye a note of indievania didn't send a code so he got a head up once he gets around to see it so this wont happen in the future.

yea the forum img embed code kinda cut my invoice in half, if you right click view image it, you'll see the whole thing
indievania lets you pay more than the base price since it goes to the devs directly

this is the checkout window for kenshi
Image

so if i choose say $25
Image

it will be $35 and on the invoice if i went through with it, it would say $25 in the section where it says $0 on mine
Image

it's one of the reasons i love shopping at indievania since it allows for tipping and goes directly to the devs

i cover a ton of indie games for my youtube channel and a gaming site blog so it's a win win for me and lets me help fund devs even more than what they ask for as a baseline

Sorry about the late reply. In the screenshot there is a bit that says "License keys: >> product 717". Can you click on that to get a key?

I can't test the shop out myself because paypal won't let me buy my own game.

wow thanks for that.
I might have to take the game off indievania if its not sending people keys. Its barely selling on there anyway. If anybody else buys through indievania, please let me know if it worked or not.

that's nice of you gusmil, but the problem with indievania in itself isn't really solved yet. If paypal took his money for the game, but he didn't receive it, then that could happen to a lot more people which is worriesome... (and you can't buy them all a copy  unless you are Mark Shuttlewort)

You should always proofread carefully to make sure you didn't any words out.

Chris I advice removing it from Indievania. I did just buy the game from there to, I was allowed to download it but I didn't recieve a code only a statement from paypal I had been sent, which should mean I cannot unlock the demo as you download the game first then put in the code, no?

@ 1337, never heard of Mark Shuttlewort but I can handle a few hundred copies without a issue :P

I'm not sure anymore if he's exactly called like that... He's a rich guy (went to space and all) that has a company that gives you free Ubuntu CDs (you go to their site and ask for 10cds for example and they send them free everywhere in theworld)

You should always proofread carefully to make sure you didn't any words out.

I have done so already, and I mailed a key to everyone who purchased just to make sure.
