Cannot update kenshi

so i purchased the game way back before green light and everything so i have to use the wyUpdate thing to update the game, i played the game for a bit when i first got it and was going to wait until some more stuff was added before i did a complete play through.

well i did that and upon launching kenshi the wyUpdater came up and began downloading all the updates i had missed while not playing the game, and it amounted to about 700 mb.

now every time the wyUpdater tries to download and install the update about 300mb through the download an error occurs everytime and the it is not downloaded.

i dont know if i can transfer it to steam and get my updates through it, and if i can please help me out or point towards the forum topic that would teach me.

i would really like to play the game so someone help if you can and have the time!

I believe you can use the key on Steam, if so then you safe on the update i guess, if not you ll have wait someone else which can help you on that side.

-if you buy now here on the lo-fi website, you will get an additional Steam key in your email when you buy.
-if you bought here on the lo-fi website in the past, you should be able to use your existing Kenshi key to redeem a Steam copy. (Got an older, name/key combo? Just leave the name part out)
-If you bought on Desura or GamersGate you should be able to use your existing Kenshi key to redeem a Steam copy.
-If you had a key personally generated by me (eg you lost your key and asked for a replacement) then it won't work on Steam unfortunately, as it won't be in the archive. Sorry about that, but please don't pester me to personally get you a Steam key.
