Steam Question

I bought the game when it wasn't on steam, and using the launcher which used to update the game, but it no longer does, and i can't activate the key i got from Chris on Steam..
So my question is, where do i go from here?

Hi, Yes, this part is me
"-If you had a key personally generated by me (eg you lost your key and asked for a replacement) then it won't work on Steam unfortunately, as it won't be in the archive. Sorry about that, but please don't pester me to personally get you a Steam key."
What do i do?

Well, maybe she isn't watching her Lofigames mail over weekends. I'm quite confident she will answer you tomorrow, on monday. (UK time zone)
